Trident Group is one of the fast growing Heavy Engineering Company involved in Steel Fabrication & Machining.
Fabrication of Steel, Assembly of Steel Structure, Material Handling Equipment and Industrial process .Trident was founded in 1999 by Late Shri Madhur Agarwal. In 2007 company got a new vision and Trident moved its focus towards Heavy Machining & Fabrication Assemblies. Today the Group has Heavy State of Art Manufacturing facility at 3 different locations in Kanpur.
Trident has all the Modern facilities of design & development of components with the tools like CNC Oxy/Plasma cutting, CNC Laser, Welding tears formers/rectifies, TIG, MAG, MIG, semi-automatic Submerged Arc welding, welding booms, Manipulates & Robotic welding and foe Machining facilities CNC Plano Miller, CNC turning, CNC vertical machining centre, 5 Axis Machine, CNC Horizontal Machining centre, CNC Pipe Bending & supporting machines with material Handling capacity up to 80 tons.
This makes Tridents to Manufacture single piece up to 70 tons and has a capacity to manufacture 1500 tons per month. Trident caters to various business segment like Railway, Power, Defence.
Purpose of Industrial Visit:
1) To interact the students with actual industry personals.
2) To make them aware of the industrial procedures required to enter in any company.
3) To experience the working environment in industry and visualize the all the important Departments in the Industry.
4) Interaction of students with the peoples of all important departments.
Ground Report: Industrial visits provides an opportunity to plan, organise and engage students in active learning experiences both inside and outside the classrooms and gives an insight into the real working environment of the industry. This not only help students to understand the do’s and don’ts of the industries, but also helps them to see their future place in the industry. So these visits are an effort to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical exposure
To help students gain first-hand information regarding functioning of the industry, one such industrial visit to Tridents Automotive Private Ltd, Kanpur was organized for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering third year students .
The students were commuted through college buses and were accompanied by Mr.Avinash Sharma and Mr.Ashwani Kumar Agnihotri Assistant Professors Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The team was welcomed by Mr. HimanshuDwivedi, HR Executive, Tridents Automotive Private Limited. The students were then taken for plant visit where Mr. Brijraj Yadav and Mr.HemantKumar(senior engineer) explained students about each & every aspect of company.
It is rightly said that “See & know’ is better than ‘read & learn’. Students have got real feel of company’s working after this visit. They got a chance to transfer their theoretical knowledge to practical implication.
