The department of Mechanical Engineering of Allenhouse Institute of Technology, Kanpur, organised an Industrial visit for 3rd year students in ‘Frontier Alloy Steel Limited’, Kanpur. The visit was an enriching and empowering tool to constitute a positive industrial climate and upgrade them regarding basic manufacturing system programs. The overall aim of this visit was to train students to adapt in the dynamic technological world. The purpose, was also to provide technical knowledge with the technological development in the industry and to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical learning. The experience and feedback helped students to enhance their information regarding functioning of various industries and associated problems and limitations.
